Soul Matters

You are invited to take part in a monthly Soul Matters group. This a safe and easy way to make connections with like-minded people and explore how your deepest values show up in daily life.

Each of us has an inner teacher, a voice of truth, that offers the guidance and power we need to deal with our problems and to be our most authentic selves. But that inner voice is often garbled by various kinds of inward and outward interference. The function of Soul Matters is to remove that interference so that each of us can discover our own wisdom from the inside out.

About the program: Each participant will receive a monthly packet of information that contains readings, poems, video links, and spiritual exercises to explore. At the end of the month, you will meet with your Soul Matters group to share your experience. The function of the group is not to give advice, ask questions or to provide a fix but rather, to provide a safe space for reflection and discovery.

UUEA is offering 3 Soul Matters groups for 2023-2024. Two are in person at the church and one is over Zoom. These meet once per month with a capacity of 5-8 participants.

Groups:

3rd Monday of the month 7-9pm, hosted over Zoom facilitated by Reverend Tina Simson, begins September 18, 2023

4th Monday of the month 7-9pm, in-person at UUEA facilitated by UUEA member Heather Schneider, begins September 25, 2023

4th Tuesday of the month 7-9pm, MEN’S GROUP, in-person at UUEA facilitated by Rich Moglia-Canon, begins September 26, 2023
